Halisi Vinson, Managing Partner, facilitating CCF's 2010 strategic planning session

Even for companies and organizations that have lasted more than 5 years it is important to conduct strategic planning sessions on a regular basis; perhaps even more so. This faith-based nonprofit has been operating for well over a decade and has been quite successful. What they realized, after the session, is that they were not aligning their resources around what they verbally said was a priority. Moreover, key leadership was divided on what the organizations core competencies are or should be. Consquently, energy and resources were being utilized on activites that probably should have been outsourced or deprioritized. Activities that were highly valued did not get the resources that they should have.
Post planning session, all of the stakeholders are in agreement with what is priority and what is not.
"...thanks for such a professional, and informative strategic planning session..." ~David P.
